HOMESCHOOL CO-OPS
No, you're not left out because you're a homeschooler. We love homeschoolers, as the flexibility allows for early and consistent levels of engagement. TOOLFEST offers homeschool students a unique, hands-on opportunity to explore careers in construction, real estate, and the building trades. By participating, homeschoolers gain access to interactive experiences, industry professionals, and engaging activities designed to spark curiosity and inspire future career paths.
How to Register: Homeschool families are encouraged to register in clusters with their cooperative or learning group.
Include the total number of students attending, contact information for the lead organizer, and any accessibility or dietary needs. Make sure to register in the city and state of the event to secure your spot. Our love or homeschoolers is limited by our ability to register single families. Please ensure that you are registered as a homeschool collective or cooperative.
What Homeschool Students Can Expect:

Hands-On Activities: Students will try on hard hats, safety glasses, and other gear, and participate in guided demonstration projects.

Meet Professionals: Interact with builders, tradespeople, and industry experts to learn about careers, tools, and skills in the built environment.

Interactive Exhibits & Challenges: Engage in creative projects, problem-solving exercises, and skill-building demonstrations designed for all ages.

Lunch & Networking: Lunch is typically provided free of charge through event sponsors, giving students a chance to connect with peers, mentors, and educators.
Orientation Requirement: All homeschool groups must attend a mandatory orientation session prior to the event. Orientation ensures leaders and students understand event logistics, safety protocols, and participation guidelines. Orientation schedules will be posted on October 6, 2025.
By attending TOOLFEST, homeschool students gain real-world exposure to the tools, trades, and pathways that shape the built environment, opening doors to skills, hobbies, courses, and future careers.
